Details of fatal crash
Recently in Indianapolis, a driver was arrested for drunk driving after allegedly causing a fatal wreck. The accident happened at night at the intersection of Ameriplex Parkway and Exploration Drive. According to police reports, a sedan headed south on Ameriplex Parkway was struck by a vehicle traveling west on Exploration Drive. Reports said the driver of the sedan was ejected from the vehicle and was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
Tragically, that driver died a short time later at the hospital, authorities said. Reportedly, the driver of the other vehicle was suspected of intoxication and placed under arrest. Police said the driver is facing multiple DUI charges. The incident is still under investigation.
